CJdropshipping Review 2026

A free account still bills the product and the freight on every order, so the membership is the wrong number to chase. A cheap plan can lose money the moment the first customer checks out. This page prices the four memberships, the warehouse schedule and the dispute clocks, then a 12-month total beside Zendrop, Spocket, DSers and AutoDS.

Retailpresso data: in October 2026 the dropshipping ranking on Toolradar, a directory we operate, covered 6 tools. CJdropshipping is named in that opener and sits outside the five that made the list. On our arithmetic, a year of Plus is $191.88 before any product or label.

CJdropshipping is a supplier and a warehouse operator, so you sell its catalog or send your own goods into its buildings and it ships to the customer. The cooperation contract names the supplier as Yiwu Cu Jia Trade Co., Ltd., in Yiwu and says the agreement is governed by the laws of China, so a refund fight sits under that contract.

The Shopify app, CJdropshipping: Much Faster, is free to install, and the listing says additional charges may apply, so the App Store button is not the invoice. As of October 2026 it shows 4.9 from 2,882 reviews, 68 of them 1 star.

The app launched on January 6, 2020, a long record rather than a new storefront. Sourcing locations are China, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States. The developer address is in Yiwu, while the listing bases the app in the United States, so the storefront and the operator differ.

You connect a store, import a product or file a sourcing request, then pay CJ for the goods and the shipment after your customer pays you. The bill is the goods plus the shipment, and your margin is whatever survives it.

Catalog orders are shipping plus stocking, and processing is free when you buy from CJ, which is not the 3PL invoice. Goods from your own factory add inbound and outbound fees on top of freight. A US delivery promise usually means that path, or stock already sitting in a CJ building.

To place your own units overseas, CJ requires at least 10 pieces of a variant and 100 pieces in total. A 20-unit test does not qualify, so you cannot learn the lane with a tiny buy. You also stay the person the buyer emails, because the contract makes you the after-sales contact.

When tracking stalls, the clock is the policy dated May 3, 2018 on CJ's refund, resend and returns post, which is the wait before a refund or a resend.

Four memberships sit on the plan page, all billed monthly, and Free has no membership fee. Plus is the first paid card for new dropshippers, Prime sits in the middle, and Advanced at $59.99 a month is the sourcing-heavy card.

Each paid card shows a crossed-out higher figure, so budget the lower price, because CJ does not say when that figure would apply.

Plus includes two coupons for $3 off an order over $10, Prime lists five of them and Advanced lists ten. A coupon trims one order without changing the listing price, a small trim you spend once and not a reason to buy a higher plan.

Twelve months of membership, before any product or label, leaves the free account with no membership bill, and Plus is 12 times $15.99, which is $191.88. DSers Advanced is 12 times $19.90, which is $238.80, Zendrop Pro on the annual rate is $399, and Spocket Starter is 12 times $39.99, which is $479.88.

Those totals are arithmetic on published rates, and they leave out the goods and the label, where a CJ order gets expensive.

A stocking example, on a reference rate CJ says can change, takes 100 units at 0.2 kilograms, which is 20 kilograms. At $12.13 per kilogram, China-to-US air ordinary inbound freight is $242.60 over 10 to 15 days. Sea ordinary is the slower row in the table, and neither figure is the last mile or the product.

Use the fee table as the storage bill, not the headline, because those pages do not agree. The fulfillment page says no storage fee for the first 3 months, and the headline says 90 days free in China and US warehouses, but the columns do not match.

China is free for 90 days, then $0.20 per cubic meter per day. The US is free for 60 days, then $0.63 per cubic meter per day, plus $0.21 per cubic meter per day from October 1 through December 31. A US outbound parcel up to 1 kilogram is $0.50 when CJ is picking goods you sent in.

Inspection is free in the China and US columns, so the surprise on a slow US SKU is the rent.

Print on demand, custom packaging and thank-you cards exist, and CJ publishes no price for them, so you cannot cost a branded unboxing from the public page.

AutoDS headlines a 3-day trial at $0.99, while a button on the same page says $1, so those amounts do not match. Automatic order fulfillment is $9.90 a month, and the monthly plan amount is not on the public cards, so a yearly total cannot include AutoDS until you read the live price.

CJdropshipping fits a store that will ship from China, or that can send 100 pieces into a warehouse before advertising a shorter trip it can hit. Plus is the upgrade when the sourcing quota, not the unit price, is the bottleneck, a desk problem rather than a margin problem.

Skip it when the ad promises a short US delivery and the unit is still in China, because the factory will miss the date you advertised.
