Gorgias Pricing 2026: Ticket Tiers and AI Agent Costs
Gorgias costs $10 to $900 a month in 2026, priced by tickets, not seats. Every tier, ticket and AI Agent overage, the break-even volumes and three store bills.

Gorgias costs $10 to $900 a month for its helpdesk in 2026, priced by monthly tickets rather than agents. Starter is $10 for 50 tickets, Basic $60 for 300, Pro $360 for 2,000 and Advanced $900 for 5,000, with annual billing cutting Basic to $50, Pro to $300 and Advanced to $750. The AI Agent is billed on top, per conversation it resolves.
Every figure here was read on Gorgias's pricing page on 18 October 2026, with billing rules from Gorgias's help article on how you're billed. Our read: the ticket model is generous for a store with a large support team and a modest inbox, and expensive for a small team with a busy one. The volume where you sit decides which.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing, per month | Tickets included | AI interactions included | User seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $10 | Not offered | 50 | 30 | 3 |
| Basic | $60 | $50 | 300 | 30 | 500 |
| Pro | $360 | $300 | 2,000 | 190 | 500 |
| Advanced | $900 | $750 | 5,000 | 530 | 500 |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Over 5,000 | Custom | Custom |
Toolradar data: Gorgias is listed as an alternative to 47 other tools on Toolradar, the software directory we run, third of the 28 tools in its help desk category, and only 5 of those 28 offer a free plan, as of October 2026. The record is Gorgias on Toolradar.
How does Gorgias count a billable ticket?
Gorgias bills per ticket, and a ticket counts once your helpdesk sends a message in it, whether from a human agent, an automated Rule or the AI Agent. Its billing article says the ticket counts once however many messages follow, so a long back-and-forth with one customer costs the same as a one-line reply.
That definition has two practical consequences for a store owner watching the bill. A Rule that auto-replies to every inbound email turns every inbound email into a billable ticket, including spam you would otherwise ignore. And tickets you close without replying, such as a "thanks!" from a customer, cost nothing, so routing noise away from auto-replies protects the allowance.
Every plan above Starter includes up to 500 user seats, so headcount does not move the bill. Starter caps at 3 seats and monthly billing, which makes it a trial tier for a founder answering their own inbox rather than a plan for a team.
What does Gorgias charge for extra tickets?
Tickets beyond the allowance are billed as overage. The comparison table on the pricing page lists $0.40 a ticket on Starter, $40 per 100 tickets on Basic and $36 per 100 on Pro and Advanced. Overage is where the ticket model turns expensive, because Basic's rate is high enough that staying on it past a certain volume costs more than upgrading.
The break-even points on monthly billing, from those list prices:
- Basic to Pro at about 1,050 tickets a month. Basic plus 750 extra tickets at $0.40 equals the Pro price. Above that volume, Pro is cheaper even before you count its larger AI allowance and revenue analytics.
- Pro to Advanced at about 3,500 tickets a month. Pro plus 1,500 extra tickets at $0.36 equals the Advanced price, so a store past that volume should move up.
Seasonality matters here. A store at 800 tickets in a normal month and 2,500 in November would pay $940 on Basic for that peak month, against $540 on Pro with its own overage, so check whether a mid-season plan change suits your volume curve before Black Friday.
How much does the Gorgias AI Agent cost?
The AI Agent is priced per automated interaction, meaning a conversation it resolves without a human. Gorgias's billing article counts an interaction as automated when the customer does not need a human agent within 72 hours.
Each plan comes with a bundle of interactions at a fixed monthly price on top of the helpdesk fee:
| Plan | AI interactions included | AI price, monthly billing | AI price, annual billing | Helpdesk plus AI, monthly | Helpdesk plus AI, annual |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 30 | $30 | Not offered | $40 | Not offered |
| Basic | 30 | $30 | $27 | $90 | $77 |
| Pro | 190 | $190 | $171 | $550 | $471 |
| Advanced | 530 | $530 | $477 | $1,430 | $1,227 |
Those bundles work out to $1.00 per interaction on monthly billing and $0.90 on annual. The rate that matters is overage: the pricing page bills interactions above the plan's allowance at $1.50 each, half again the bundled rate.
There is also a double count to budget for. Gorgias's billing article says you pay both a ticket fee and an automation fee when the AI Agent replies and never hands over to a human, so an AI-resolved conversation uses a helpdesk ticket as well as an interaction. A conversation the AI hands to a person is billed as an ordinary ticket only.
Three store bills, priced
These scenarios use list prices on monthly billing and are our arithmetic, not quotes. The comparison uses Re:amaze's pricing page, which charges per team member, and Richpanel's pricing page, which charges per seat with no per-ticket fee.
| Store | Gorgias | Re:amaze | Richpanel |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 agents, 250 tickets a month | Basic, $60 | Basic, 2 seats at $29: $58 | 2 seats at $119: $238 |
| 5 agents, 1,500 tickets a month | Pro, $360 | Pro, 5 seats at $49: $245 | 5 seats: $595 |
| 15 agents, 4,000 tickets a month | Advanced, $900 | Pro, 15 seats: $735 | 15 seats: $1,785 |
The helpdesk-only bills above show the shape of each pricing model, and the shape matters more than any single row. Gorgias and Re:amaze sit close for a small store; Re:amaze stays cheaper as seats grow because its per-seat rate is low, and Richpanel's seat price only makes sense when its AI does most of the work. Re:amaze also sells a Starter plan at $59 a month flat for unlimited team members and up to 500 responded conversations, a strong alternative for a small store whose volume fits.
Now add AI. If the AI Agent resolves 600 of the 1,500 tickets in the middle scenario, Gorgias's Pro bundle covers 190 of them and the other 410 bill at the overage rate, adding $615 to the $550 Pro-plus-AI price, for $1,165 a month. Re:amaze bills extra AI resolutions at $0.85 each beyond its included 10 per seat, and Richpanel lists about $0.20 per AI-handled conversation with a $200 monthly AI minimum. Heavy automation is where Gorgias's list price is weakest, so negotiate a larger AI allowance before you commit volume to it.
What Gorgias gives you for the price
Gorgias is built for ecommerce, and that shows in what each plan includes. Every tier handles email, chat, social and a help center from one inbox and connects to Shopify, and the AI Agent is pre-trained on 18+ retail verticals. Pro adds revenue analytics, so you can see the sales that support conversations produce, and Advanced adds a dedicated support tier and white-glove onboarding.
The AI Agent can also take Actions such as cancelling an order, applying a discount or editing an order, on plans where that row is ticked in the comparison table. For a Shopify brand, those order actions are the reason to pick Gorgias over a general helpdesk, because they turn "where is my order" and "cancel my order" into conversations that never reach an agent.
Voice and SMS are add-ons on any plan, priced by call and text volume; the pricing page lists no figure, so request a quote if phone support matters. The Gorgias review covers the product in depth, and the best AI customer service tools for ecommerce list compares it with rivals beyond the two priced here.
Costs the pricing page does not show
- Auto-replies that count as tickets. Any Rule that replies to a message makes that ticket billable, so a blanket "we got your email" Rule spends allowance on every inbound message.
- AI overage at $1.50. Above the bundled interactions, each AI resolution costs half again what it costs inside the bundle, plus the helpdesk ticket it uses.
- Starter's limits. Starter is monthly only, with 3 seats and 50 tickets, so a store that grows past a founder-run inbox moves to Basic quickly.
- Annual commitment. The annual price saves $120 a year on Basic and $1,800 on Advanced on the helpdesk alone, but it locks the tier for the year, which hurts if your volume drops after the holidays.
- Enterprise. Above 5,000 conversations a month, or for SSO via SAML and custom security terms, Gorgias quotes a custom plan with no list price.
Is Gorgias worth it for a Shopify store?
Gorgias is worth it for a Shopify brand with a team of three or more and a ticket volume that fits a tier, because the price does not rise with headcount and the order actions save agent time. Our best Shopify apps list puts it in context with the rest of a store's stack, best tools for DTC founders covers the wider toolkit, and Shopify pricing and the Shopify review cover the platform underneath. Support is one line in a stack that usually also includes email, priced in our Klaviyo pricing breakdown, and a set of zero-cost add-ons from the best free Shopify apps list.
It is a weaker buy for a solo founder with a busy inbox, where Re:amaze's flat Starter plan costs about the same and covers more conversations, and for a brand planning to automate most tickets with AI, where Gorgias's interaction overage outruns the per-conversation pricing elsewhere. Our guide to an AI chatbot for ecommerce and the best AI apps for Shopify cover the automation options, and the best returns management software list covers the tools that remove return tickets before they reach any helpdesk. The Re:amaze and Richpanel profiles on Toolradar list their alternatives.

There is no free plan. Gorgias offers a 7-day free trial, and the pricing page says no credit card is required to start it.
Is Gorgias cheaper than Re:amaze?
Not on list price. A 5-agent team at 1,500 tickets a month pays $115 more a month on Gorgias Pro than on Re:amaze Pro billed monthly. Gorgias closes the gap when the team is large and the ticket volume small, since it does not charge per seat.
