TL;DR

Yotpo is worth it for a store at 500 orders a month that wants reviews and loyalty from one vendor. Reviews has a free plan up to 50 orders a month. Paid Reviews plans start at $15 a month per the FAQ and rise with order volume, and the Starter card is $89 a month for up to 500 orders. Loyalty and Referrals starts at $199 a month. For reviews alone at 500 orders, Junip (Core at $29 a month) and Fera (Small at $19 a month billed yearly) both publish less than the Starter card.

Yotpo sells reviews and loyalty under one contract. Whether that is worth the money depends less on features than on your monthly order count, because Yotpo bills by orders and sets the price on a slider.

This review is for Shopify and other ecommerce operators past their first sales who are weighing Yotpo against the review apps and loyalty tools they already know. It reads the prices on Yotpo's own pricing pages and on each competitor's pricing page.

It is a pricing and feature read, not a hands-on test of the product. Methodology: list prices only, read on each vendor's own pricing page in October 2026, compared at one scenario of 500 orders a month.

Toolradar data: we evaluated 32 reviews and UGC tools in our Best Reviews and UGC Tools guide, and 12 of them have a free plan. Our Yotpo profile also tracks 642 user reviews on G2 and Capterra. Those counts show how crowded the category is before you read a single vendor price.

What is Yotpo?

Yotpo is a customer content and loyalty platform for ecommerce brands. Its homepage sells three products. Reviews and UGC collects and displays customer content, including photo and video reviews. Loyalty and Referrals runs points and referral programs.

Discover is pitched as a way to control how AI ranks and recommends your products, and it is custom-priced.

The homepage claims more than 30,000 growing brands use Yotpo, a vendor claim with no date attached. The Bundle combines Reviews and Loyalty for less than buying each one separately, according to Yotpo's FAQ, so price the bundle first if you want both.

How Yotpo works

Yotpo's price is set on a slider. Each product page has one: you set your monthly orders and the matching plan and price appear, as the FAQ explains. That makes the bill a function of order volume, so a store with a holiday spike should price its peak month, not its average.

The plan cards show Starter and Pro as the two paid Reviews tiers, both for up to 500 orders a month, at the monthly prices in the table below. Premium and Enterprise are custom quotes. The Free plan covers up to 50 monthly orders at $0.

Once a store grows past that, it has to pick a paid tier, and that step is the real decision.

Review requests are the feature buyers assume is metered. The pricing page's feature table lists automatic post-purchase review request emails and reminder requests by email and SMS. It publishes no quota for either, so the order count is the only meter it states for Reviews.

Yotpo key features

Free Reviews planEssential
Free for stores up to 50 orders a month. It is enough to set up the request flow and see what a review program looks like before any paid step. It is not a plan for a store with real volume.
Order-based pricingEssential
The price moves with monthly orders, set on a slider on each product page. Predictable for a steady store, hard to forecast for one with seasonal peaks.
Starter: branded reviews and on-site displayEssential
Branded review experience, on-site display, collection and sharing tools, and support center tutorials. Most stores between 50 and 500 orders will price this tier first.
Pro: AI review tools and seller ratings
Adds seller ratings, AI display features, AI tools that help shoppers write reviews, and AI chatbot and email support.
Premium and Enterprise: syndication and API
Premium adds a reviews AI summary, roles and permissions, syndication across domains and retail, AI-powered analytics and a dedicated onboarding manager. Enterprise adds custom API setup and omni-channel collection. Both are quotes.
Loyalty and Referrals
A separate product with a free plan and paid tiers above it, per the FAQ. The Bundle with Reviews costs less than buying both, according to the same FAQ.

Yotpo pricing

Yotpo's pricing page shows the Reviews plan cards as Free (up to 50 orders), Starter, Pro, and custom quotes for Premium and Enterprise. Starter and Pro both cover up to 500 orders a month.

The FAQ on the same page, and a second Reviews pricing page, say paid Reviews plans start at $15 a month and rise with order volume.

The order slider on each product page gives the exact price for your store. Source: Yotpo pricing, verified October 2026.

The scenario is a store at 500 orders a month that wants reviews and loyalty.

At the Starter card price, Reviews costs $89 x 12 = $1,068 a year. Loyalty costs at least $199 x 12 = $2,388 a year, since the FAQ gives that as the starting price. Together that is $3,456 a year before any step up.

The same 500-order store on reviews alone has cheaper published options.

Junip's Free plan lists unlimited orders and review requests at $0. Its Core plan is $29 a month, or $348 a year at the monthly rate, with the same unlimited limits (Junip pricing).

Fera's Small plan is $19 a month billed yearly, $228 a year, for up to 2,000 orders and 1,000 review requests (Fera pricing).

On loyalty, Smile.io's Essential plan costs $180 a year at the monthly rate, for up to 500 monthly orders, the same volume (Smile.io pricing).

Okendo publishes no list price; its plans are sold through sales (Okendo pricing). If email is the bigger line on your bill, compare Klaviyo pricing before you commit.

Yotpo pros and cons

What we like

  • Free Reviews plan for stores up to 50 orders a month, enough to test the request flow.
  • Starter covers branded reviews, on-site display and collection tools for up to 500 orders.
  • Loyalty has a free tier, and the Bundle costs less than buying Reviews and Loyalty separately.

What could be better

  • The bill moves with order volume: the FAQ's starting price sits well below the Starter card.
  • Premium and Enterprise, which hold syndication and API setup, are quote-only.
  • Loyalty's paid tiers sit well above Smile.io's Essential plan at the same order volume.

Who Yotpo is for

Yotpo fits an ecommerce store at 500 orders a month that wants reviews and loyalty under one vendor. At that volume the Starter card is the number to budget, and the loyalty bill sits on top of it.

Syndication across domains and retail sits in Premium and Enterprise, both quote-only, so budget for a sales call if you need them.

It is a weaker fit when reviews are the only job. At 500 orders a month, Fera and Junip publish lower monthly prices for reviews, and Junip's Free plan is worth checking first for a store that is only testing.

Read our best customer review platforms ranking before you commit: the list also covers Judge.me, Trustpilot, Okendo and Loox.

Stores under 50 orders a month can start on the free Reviews plan and see whether review volume justifies a paid tier.

Loyalty's free plan suits a store that is not yet ready for paid tiers. If your stack is email first, compare Privy, and check the loyalty software list before you pick a paid tier.

The bottom line

Yotpo is worth it for a store at 500 orders a month that wants reviews and loyalty from one vendor. It is the wrong first buy for a store that only needs reviews. Junip and Fera publish lower monthly prices for the same order count, and the free Reviews plan covers stores up to 50 orders.

Use the order slider on Yotpo's product page to get the price for your own volume.

Our Yotpo profile on Toolradar, our Junip profile and the best reviews and UGC tools guide hold the category counts used above.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Yotpo cost?
Yotpo Reviews has a free plan for up to 50 monthly orders. Its plan cards list Starter at $89 a month and Pro at $169 a month, both for up to 500 orders, with Premium and Enterprise on custom quotes. Loyalty and Referrals starts at $199 a month. Paid Reviews plans start at $15 a month per the FAQ and rise with order volume, so use the order slider on each product page for your figure. Verified on Yotpo's pricing pages, October 2026.
Does Yotpo have a free plan?
Yes for Reviews, which is limited to 50 monthly orders at no charge. Loyalty and Referrals also has a free plan, per the FAQ, with paid tiers above it. A store that grows past the order limit has to move to a paid tier. Junip's free plan lists unlimited orders and review requests on its pricing page, though some features show as dashes in its table.
How does Yotpo's order-based pricing work?
Yotpo sets the price on a slider on each product page, based on your monthly order count. Its FAQ gives the starting price for paid Reviews plans, and the Starter card covers up to 500 orders. Enter your own order count on the slider to see the figure for your store.
What is the cheapest alternative to Yotpo Reviews?
On published prices, Junip is the cheapest for a 500-order store: its Free plan lists unlimited orders and review requests at $0, and its Core plan is $29 a month. Fera's Small plan costs $19 a month billed yearly for up to 2,000 orders, which is less than Junip's Core plan. Okendo publishes no list price.
Is Yotpo worth it for a small Shopify store?
Usually not on a paid tier. A store under 50 monthly orders can run the free Reviews plan at no cost. Above that, a store that needs reviews alone should compare Junip and Fera before it commits to the Starter card, since both publish lower monthly prices than that card.
Is Yotpo Loyalty worth it?
Only if you want the full program and can carry the bill. Loyalty and Referrals has paid tiers after its free plan, and they start well above Smile.io's Essential plan. Smile.io's Essential plan covers up to 500 monthly orders, and its free plan covers 200 monthly orders with points, referrals and discount rewards.
