Easyship Review 2026
Whether the free plan is enough, what Plus and Premier add, and how the seat compares with four other label tools.
Easyship is worth the free plan when you ship 50 parcels a month or fewer and can work from one login. Plus costs $29 a month, or $23 a month billed yearly. That is the first plan with checkout rates, order sync, and shipping rules, so you pay before volume is the reason. Postage and insurance are extra on every plan, so the seat is only the software line.
The catch is the login cap: Plus allows 3 people, so a team of 5 pays for Premier. A USPS and UPS shop that wants no monthly fee should price Pirate Ship against Shippo first, and the wider set is in our shipping software guide.
Key factsBest for: Cross-border stores that can live inside the shipment cap…
- Multi-carrier labels with a real free plan, if the shop can live inside the shipment and login caps.
- Founded: Easyship's about page says the company was founded in 2014.
- Free plan: The free plan includes a monthly shipment cap and one team member.
- First paid plan: Plus is the first paid plan, billed monthly or at a lower yearly rate.
- Trial: Paid plans include a 14-day trial, and the free start does not ask for a card.
Pros
- The free plan includes courier choice, customs documents, and duty calculation, so a small international catalog can print before it pays.
- A funded crowdfunding wave can have the seat waived until backers ship, so the campaign pays shipping rather than a monthly plan.
- Plus adds checkout rates, order sync, and rules at a shipment cap of 500, which covers a shop well past the free limit.
Cons
- Plus stops at 3 logins, and crossing a shipment cap forces a prorated upgrade rather than a small per-label charge.
- Active subscription fees are not refunded, and an early exit from an annual plan can add a cancellation fee that Easyship does not publish.
- Insurance defaults to off, starts at $0.49, and some countries and products are excluded, so coverage is a choice on every label.

Easyship's free plan is a real $0 seat, and it is also a narrow one. Checkout rates, automatic order sync, and shipping rules start on Plus, so a Shopify store pays for a seat before volume is the problem.
Toolradar data: Toolradar tracks 46 shipping and fulfillment tools as of 16 October 2026. Easyship is listed as an alternative on 11 other profiles, the same count as EasyPost and Sendcloud, while ShipStation is listed on 32. The category table is on the shipping and fulfillment statistics page, with profiles for Easyship, ShipStation, and Shippo.
Methodology: on 17 October 2026 we read each vendor's plan page and the help articles linked in the pricing section. The month-cost sums are our arithmetic. This is a reading of those pages, not a packing-bench test. Affiliate handling is explained on how we rate.
What is Easyship?
Easyship is multi-carrier shipping software: you rate couriers, buy labels, print them, and produce customs paperwork from one account. The subscription does not include postage, so a low seat can still sit on a full carrier invoice.
Easyship's about page says the company was founded in 2014 and is used by over 100,000 brands. It names more than 550 courier services, including UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS, and discounts of up to 91% off retail. Those discounts are off retail rates and can change, so you cannot budget the top figure as a saving you will get.
Pre-negotiated service ships from a short origin list that includes the United States, to 200 or more destinations. That suits a US store selling abroad, and anyone shipping from outside the list should confirm the origin first. Easyship also names itself the shipping partner of Kickstarter and Indiegogo, which is the setup behind the crowdfunding waiver.
Label software is the product the published plans actually sell. The comparison table marks 3PL services and the global fulfillment network as contact-us items on Premier and Scale. A store that wants someone else to store and pack is buying a different product.
How Easyship works
Setup is an account, a sales channel, and a printer. The about page names Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, eBay, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and more than 55 other platforms. CSV upload is on every plan, including Free, so a missing connector does not block you from pushing orders.
Auto-sync starts on Plus, along with shipping rules, checkout rates, and branded tracking. Free still includes courier selection, batch printing, packing slips, return labels, customs documents, and duty calculation inside the account. Showing that duty to the buyer at checkout waits until Premier, so the free math stays on the dashboard.
Insurance defaults to off, so a label can leave uninsured unless someone turns coverage on. Paid plans include a 14-day trial, and you can start without a card. An upgrade bills immediately and is prorated, so the trial does not cover a mid-cycle move to a higher plan.

Easyship pricing
Prices below were read on 17 October 2026 from Easyship's plans page. Easyship says plan prices can differ by country, so confirm the seat if you are not billed in the United States.
Free has no monthly fee, and Plus and Premier each pair a monthly rate with a lower yearly rate. Scale is a slider at $99, $149, or $199 a month, shown as $79, $119, or $159 a month when billed yearly. Enterprise is contact sales past the largest published shipment cap, which is where the list price stops.
Our arithmetic, not Easyship's: twelve monthly Plus bills come to $348, and twelve months at the yearly Plus rate come to $276, a $72 gap. That gap is the cost of staying month to month. The plans page calls annual billing a 20% saving and tells you to switch off auto-renew in the last month of the year. Cancelling an annual plan early may bring a cancellation fee that Easyship does not publish, and the subscription article says active subscription fees are not refunded.
A 200-shipment month with a team that still fits on Plus stays inside that plan. The same month on ShipStation's pricing page misses the 100-shipment Starter band, so it is the 500-shipment band at $39.99 a month. Shippo prices Pro at $19 a month for 1 to 200 labels, or $205 for the year, which undercuts Plus inside that band. ShippingEasy prices Growth at $19.99 a month for 26 to 200 shipments, and Pirate Ship charges no monthly fee.
None of these pages prices a parcel, so a cheaper seat can still lose once weight and zone are known. On your own UPS account, Plus adds $0.05 a label, which is $10 across that month, on top of the seat.
A team of 5 at that same volume cannot stay on Plus, because Plus stops at its login cap. Premier is $69 a month, or $55 a month billed yearly, and it allows 2,500 shipments, which is headroom plus duty at checkout. ShipStation Standard includes 10 users, and the matching volume band is $89.99 a month, more software than Premier for that bench. Shippo Pro already lists 5 logins on that same Pro band, so that bench does not need a higher Shippo plan.
A team of 20 has no published seat, because Scale stops at 12 people and ShipStation Premium stops at 15 users, from $349.99 a month. Both send that bench to sales, so budget a quote instead of a plan card.
Going over a shipment cap is an upgrade, not a per-label toll, so one busy week can reprice the month. The higher plan is prorated for the current month and billed in full next cycle.
Shippo instead bills $0.08 a label after 10,000 labels in a month, a meter rather than a forced upgrade. API users pay another meter: free-plan rates are $0.01 a call and tax and duty is $0.11, while Plus includes 2,000 rates calls and then $0.008. Tracking on Easyship labels is unlimited, which is the line that does not grow with volume.
Insurance sits outside the seat and defaults to off, so a compared rate can still ship bare. The insurance article starts at 1% domestic and 1.5% international, with a $0.49 minimum, on shipping cost plus customs value. A $100 domestic shipment starts at $1, and a full month at that volume hitting only the minimum adds $98.

Easyship pros and cons
What we like
- The free plan includes courier choice, customs documents, and duty calculation, so a small international catalog can print before it pays.
- A funded crowdfunding wave can have the seat waived until backers ship, so the campaign pays shipping rather than a monthly plan.
- Plus adds checkout rates, order sync, and rules at a shipment cap of 500, which covers a shop well past the free limit.
What could be better
- Plus stops at 3 logins, and crossing a shipment cap forces a prorated upgrade rather than a small per-label charge.
- Active subscription fees are not refunded, and an early exit from an annual plan can add a cancellation fee that Easyship does not publish.
- Insurance defaults to off, starts at $0.49, and some countries and products are excluded, so coverage is a choice on every label.
Who Easyship is for
Easyship fits a store that ships to more than one country, or expects to. Choose it for duty math and a wide courier list before you chase the cheapest seat. Stay on Free while you are under the shipment cap, alone on the account, and willing to upload orders and skip checkout rates. Move to Plus when the storefront must show rates, orders must sync, or a second and third person must log in.
Buy Premier when buyers have to see import tax and duty before they pay. Buy it also when the bench is past the Plus login cap, or when you need pick lists and multi-box shipments. Use the crowdfunding waiver if a funded Kickstarter or Indiegogo campaign is the whole reason you are here, then reprice the seat once backers are shipped. The ShipStation review is the page to open when the warehouse workflow matters more than the duty line.
Skip the paid seat if the catalog is domestic USPS and UPS and a monthly fee is off the table, because Pirate Ship charges nothing for the software. Skip Plus as well if a couple hundred labels and a small team are the steady state. Shippo and ShippingEasy both post a lower software bill there, and the Shippo review goes through that label math.
Skip the published plans if you need more than 12 logins, because that quote is Enterprise. Ordoro is the other in-house desk in our Ordoro review. A $0 seat across the category is the free shipping software list, and leaving a bigger desk is the ShipStation alternatives list.

The bottom line
Easyship is worth opening on the free plan if you are under the free shipment cap, alone on the account, and you want duty calculation without a seat. It is worth Plus when checkout rates, order sync, or a second login show up, and the yearly rate is the cheaper of the two published Plus prices. It is a weak buy when the work is domestic USPS and UPS only, because Pirate Ship charges no seat and Shippo and ShippingEasy post a lower software bill.
Pay for Premier when buyers must see tax and duty before they pay, or when four or five people need a login. Past the largest published login count, or past the largest published shipment cap, the price is a sales quote. More desks are in the shipping software guide.
